Excellent writing and subediting skills to ensure the fws projects sound as forward-thinking, energetic, original, fun and all-encompassing as they are.
-
Some website & IT skills (not extensive - just enough to work your way around our website).
-
Ability to work to set own goals and meet them.
-
Ability to meet deadlines, even when other’s input is required (this doesn’t concern you because you plan for other’s input to take time when you set your original goals).
-
Ability to work with a number of fws volunteers, including the fws Subediting Manager, to ensure the information detailed in any fws communication is accurate and up to date.
-
Exceptional eye for detail – don’t tell readers on one webpage that fws is supporting “house-mamas” and then tell them on another webpage that our “house mothers” are important employees.
