Have an interest in Africa (19 visits in the last 18 years) particularly in understanding the reasons why poverty has not been addressed in the last 50 years the same time Korea has developed from a similar base to its current high income status.

Retired from Australian Communications and Media Authority in 2007 with intention of doing work in Africa. Worked at the School of St.Jude in Arusha from 2008-2009.

This year I was due to do work in Malawi in the Hospital sector, however, due to unrest the Australian Government has withdrawn its aid program, in the interim I offered to help out with fws in the Finance role.

To ensure all expenditure is in accordance with budget approvals, it is appropriately recorded and proper records are maintained. To provide relevant reporting to the local management and the board in Australia, so that they can properly manage their responsibilities.

It is making a difference to the lives of families and to the future prospects of the children to better realise their full potential.
