I really love the philosophy of fws and the Kesho Leo project. It’s so nice to see a real grass - roots, bottom - up project that is so successful and integrates health, social welfare, education and permaculture - what an achievement!

responsibilities

To manage the health program, including the direction of the clinical services and the health education/promotion program. Support the health team, including the Kesho Leo Health Volunteer, the Kesho Leo Nurse and the KL Health Advisor to create sustainable, effective, culturally appropriate interventions for the Kesho Leo community.

favourite thing about fws

I love the fact that fws is not implementing a donor-driven, top-down project and is really working with the community using participatory planning and tools. Oh, and I love the other fws volunteers… a great bunch of people.
