After working as the volunteer nurse/midwife in Kesho Leo in 2008, I love fws. I want to use my skills to help the community of Kesho Leo and learn more about international development and health care in Tanzania.

responsibilities

To manage the health program, including the direction of the clinical services and the health education/promotion program. Support the health team, including the Kesho Leo Health Manager, the Kesho Leo Nurse and the fws Health policy officer to create sustainable, effective, culturally appropriate interventions for the Kesho Leo mama’s, kids and community.

favourite thing about fws

I love that everyone who is involved is doing it to help the mamas, kids and community at Kesho Leo. I love the other fws volunteers…a great bunch of people.
