volunteering with fws because

I have been given this amazing opportunity to broaden my horizons and get involved with work I’m so passionate about! I have been inspired by the African culture and wish to help in any way possible to beat poverty and build a sustainable life free of harm and despair for these incredible human beings!

fws title

Social Welfare Manager

responsibilities

Offering charitable support to Mama’s, Watoto (Kids) and the wider Sion community, by means of working alongside my Tanzanian co-worker implementing and evaluating new and old community based programs which endeavour to break the poverty cycle and help sustain the vulnerable lifestyle lived by many Tanzanians.

favourite thing about fws

Sorry guys I can not cut it down to one! My two favourite things about fws is the amazing work behind building a sustainable Living environment for the locals at Kesho and the awesome idea of employing and educating local staff to eventually maintain the overall project of fws in the future.

passion

  • My amazing family back home (you know who you all are biological or not) I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for them.
  • Anything to do with Human Rights
  • Travelling. Seeing the world opens your eyes to people and objects that are not always insight.
  • Sports. Keeps me sane at times...
  • Laughing. Life is too short not to laugh and smile!
