All materials submitted to the
f
w
s
Communications Team for approval should be thoroughly spell-checked, using these methods:
1. Use the spelling checker tool in Microsoft Word to check the spelling in all documents. This should be based on the Australian English dictionary. Do not use any other version of English. To select the dictionary, from the Tools menu, select Language and then Set Language. From the drop-down box select “English (Australia)”. Then from the Tools menu, select Spelling and Grammar.
If you copy text from other documents, sometimes the American English dictionary is attached. To set the language for your document to Australian English, select all text in the document, and then use the Set Language option from the Tools and Language menu options. Select “English (Australia.)”.
2. Where unsure, refer to the

3. Where still unsure, refer to
The Macquarie Dictionary.
