position purpose
The Program Coordinator (multiple positions) has the responsibility of overseeing an assigned program or programs as part of the fws funding team. Each program area (Merchandise, Corporate Sponsorship, Public fundraising, Events) has unique aspects to it, but they all share some common requirements. A team player who works across fws teams, someone ready to think differently and contribute to driving our funding programs, a sharp eye for detail and service skills to implement the assign program.
responsibilities
- Produce promotional materials, documentation and forms to support the funding program (supported with writing and creative resources when required).
- Answer enquiries about fws from the public or other assigned group.
- Be a point of contact for the assigned program answering enquiries from other fws team members or the public.
- Oversee the fws online content for the program ensuring it remains current.
- Look for new ways to promote the fws program with a goal to increase funding from the program.
- Work with other fundraising program coordinators and managers to develop new programs to delivery sustainable funding.
- Participate in events as necessary.
- Provide program reporting as necessary.
key performance indicators
- The program has clear and current documentation and materials to support it.
- Enquiries are answered and within agreed timeframes.
- Attendance (conference call in most cases) at funding team meetings (approx. 2 hours per month).
- Reporting as agreed with the team is provided.
- Demonstrate adherence to fws values.

skills & requirements
- Experience in marketing, PR or events.
- Excellent communication and administrative skills.
- Ideally comfortable with writing.
- Ability to work in a team spread across Australia and internationally.
- Strong technology skills Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Apps and social media.
