Welcome and huge thanks go out to new fws Melbourne fundraising volunteers, Alice and Monica...they hosted an evening of food, wine and fws fun in sunny St Kilda on Wednesday 9 December. Their amazing efforts raised almost $5,000 for Kesho Leo - well done ladies!

Alice and Monica organised a mouth-watering menu of treats, matched with a range of organic wines, all donated for the cause. Entertainment for the night included some wonderful musical talents, and a very popular 'lucky dip' draw. A great team of volunteers helped out on the night, including Monica's dad Peter (king of the kitchen) and fws public fundraising consultant, Laura, who flew down from Sydney for the event (now that's dedication!)

The event was a huge success, with about 70 people enjoying a gorgeous summer evening in the garden of the Port Phillip EcoCentre. Massive thank you to everyone involved, and to all the local businesses who supported the event with donations of delicious gourmet foods, organic wines, and raffle and lucky dip prizes.
