The kids at Kesho Leo chekechea (kindergarten) have been getting creative lately, with Mwalimu Helen using art projects to enhance their understanding of the stories and themes they are learning about in class.
The latest group effort is this gorgeous Baobab tree, made using toilet rolls and papier-mâché. The kids even made replica Baobab fruits, which you can rattle to hear the seeds inside! Each child also made a monkey to live in the tree, sticking them to the branches of this colourful creation.
