Energetic conversations about education have been filling the air for the past month. On 20 November, Kesho Leo welcomed our 2010 education manager, Hannah Anderson, to the team. Since then, current education manager Helen has had the opportunity to handover the education program to Hannah.

It has been great to listen to Helen recall some of her experiences, challenges and achievements throughout the year: from initially teaching under a tree at the gates of Kesho Leo, to setting up the education building, the chekachea program and after school tuition.

We've all enjoyed Helen's reflection on the wonderful progress that the children have made throughout the year. It has also been great to hear Hannah's excitement and goals for the coming year.

Congratulations Helen on all that you have achieved this year! The children will fondly remember their time spent with Mwalimu Helen. We wish Helen all the best for her future endeavours.
