Our Scottish-come-Australian carpenter and generally seriously handy handy-man Don has been working away for the past 3 weeks on our volunteer village. Working with Corky and our fabulous team of Tanzanian labourers Don's made some impressive headway on our new extensions.

He's also learned heaps of swahilli from the guys – I think one of his favourites is “Chakula cha mchana ilikuaje?” or in English, “How was lunch?”
