The annual turnover at the Volunteer Village is now almost complete, and with every new team comes the chance to put professional minds together and plan for a bigger, brighter future for Kesho Leo.
In recent weeks this team of dedicated, enthusiastic volunteers came together over some roast goat and sodas to develop a strategic plan of their very own. Bringing their wealth of knowledge and training to the table we were in the perfect position to reflect on our various roles and work towards a consistent, sustainable plan that builds on the principals, values and objectives of foodwatershelter Australia.
So now that we're all together and living happily at the Volunteer Village, working towards some very big and exciting 2011 Kesho Leo developments, let me introduce the Kesho Crew. |

Although trained in social welfare, the dirt is where this green thumbed girl's heart lies. Having already brought in the 'Lindsay Green of the Week' eco tip to Volunteer Team Meetings she is all set to keep building on the positive environmental impact of Kesho Leo. A big fan of anything that grows, Lindsay has already made some big headway with the Kesho Leo shamba (farm) and livestock, ensuring our furry friends are happy, healthy and pulling their weight for the good of the village. One thing is for sure, there with be Peace in the world of Kesho Leo Permaculture this year. |
