The fws ute has been a loyal and steadfast supporter of the KeshoKrew. It may be slightly dented but the good ol’ Toyota Hilux hasnever let us down. And, earlier this year it was the venue for anunplanned delivery – yes, a baby was born in our ute as Mudi drove theexpectant mother to hospital!
Our ute has been given some much needed TLC from Glen, InfrastructureManager, over the past few weeks. This TLC will hopefully prolong thevehicle’s lifespan and ensure it continues to be a part of the KeshoKrew for some time to come.
As part of the TLC, Glen used his welding and sewing skills to createa canopy for the back tray. This helps keep all volunteers safe fromprying eyes and even keeps out the rain - a must when living in EastAfrica during the rainy season!
