Job Title

2 x fws General Subeditors (yes, we can change this title at any time!)

Job Description

The fws General Subeditors will work alongside the other fws Subeditors to support the fws Subediting Manager to create and maintain a fws communications style guide.

That done, the fws General Subeditors will work with the fws Media Manager, the fws President and the fws Subediting Manager (using the newly created fws communications style guide) to subedit all existing fws paraphernalia to fws-style. This paraphernalia includes fws fundraising packs, fws about us documents - one for Australia, one for Tanzania, the fws corporate sponsorship proposal, the fws volunteer application form, the fws volunteer right & responsibilities form - and other such excitements.

When the fws General Subeditors have finished subediting and updating these existing fws documents, they will have the absolute honour of getting to work on our new ones! There's the upcoming fws calendar, fws e-cards, fws recycled-paper Xmas card pack, fws media kit, fws HR volunteering handbook for Australian-based vols…and plenty more planned!

The fws General Subeditors will ensure all of these terrific fws paraphernalia documents are subedited to fws-style, make exciting reading, look terrific visually, maintain the fws voice and vibe.

The fws General Subeditors will work to the deadlines outlined by the fws Subedting Manager, fws Media Manager and fws President ensuring that these important documents are subedited within the time-frames outlined.
