position purpose
This professional volunteer opportunity is for a dynamic senior person to play a key role in helping fws build a diverse and sustainable funding program to support our goals. This Australian based role with guide other volunteers with responsibilities for the implementation of our current initiatives (F4F sponsorship program, merchandise, fundraising events) as well as forge a path to building a range of programs into the future.
responsibilities
- Take the lead role in the cross functional fws funding committee charged with development of the funding program.
- Liaise with all levels of the organization in support of volunteers who have responsibilities to implement current funding programs.
- Establish a small events volunteer workforce, capable of implementing an effective fundraising events program.
- Provide a monthly report to fws board, fws programs manager and all program leaders on the current and predicted status of fws in-bound funds overall.

- Key contributor to the development and implementation of a funding program.
- Report monthly to the fws board on performance against plan.

- Experience in fundraising concepts and processes.
- Excellent communication and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate others.
- Ability to work in team spread across Australia and internationally.
- Computer efficiency in the Internet (email, skype), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
