working with fws because

I have been influenced to work with the volunteers and actually those who are helping, the orphans and widows because I have no ability to help them financially but through working with fws. I think later on when I will get ability, then I will do so to help them effectively, but fws will be like institution to pull me forward. I have my own needs, and also my wife with two children whom all depend from me to get basic needs like food, water and shelter so through working with fws I will be able to cover some of needs and to improve my life standard.

fws title

Kesho Leo Farm Manager

responsibilities

I am a farm manager so I supervise and direct all services to be rendered by cattle, goats, pigs including their food and medicine. I make sure the labourers have arrived at the fws job centre and arranging the work to be done on that day. I look for organic medicines, which are available in the areas. I also teach the labourers working at the farm how to make composite manure and make sure their work in performed properly. Finally, I supervise the mama’s on the farm and teach them how to make biogas using the required measurements.

favourite thing about fws

Education me through short courses such as one in Uganda about Permaculture and at the Global Services Corps about bio-intensive agriculture.

passions

I like to spend time with my family, to grow a garden at my house and to play with my two children
