Brisbane-based Events Manager

Job Description:
fw splans to host a very flash fundraiser in Brisbane every year. What this night needs is an events manager/company, that can come in and organise a creative, exotic, fundraising night by:
  1. creating an enticing line-up (and theme!) for the evening (must-see entertainment, a live auction, a silent auction, a celebrity MC, a lively and motivating auction caller, a theme that can be carried through dress, food, drinks and decor, etc)
  2. procuring brilliant auction prizes (which would hopefully promote our eco-friendly status and include stuff like a prius/smart car, electric scooter, slow-cooking trip to Italy, eco-retreat in FNQ, auction off eco-analysis of your home, etc)
  3. getting the right crowd there - high-income individuals and corporate tables that have money to spend and will be enticed to spend/donate it as they realise what a fabulous evening they are having (and of course, what a terrific cause fws supports).
